Hands-On Experience for Biology Students

The undergraduate biological sciences programs at UC Davis are known for extensive laboratory course work, which enables students to graduate with the critical skills necessary to get started in a science career. Students have plenty of opportunities to participate in internships and work in campus research laboratories. UC Davis is close to the bay area biotechnology industry, and to California's state capitol in Sacramento, creating many possibilities for collaboration and involvement in the national scientific community. The great learning environment at UC Davis is pivotal in preparing the next generation of scientific leaders. The possible careers available to people with a solid science education are limitless.
